Book launch: Hamburgers in Paradise

Hamburgers in Paradise is a product of Louise O. Fresco’s decades of research on food, its production and consumption. This book is a guide for readers who want to adopt ways to improve food systems and resolve the problem of food shortages.

Fresco has authored several other books. She is president of Wageningen University and Research Centre in the Netherlands and has extensive experience working in developing countries. She is a member of the Council of Advisors for the World Food Prize.
